Getting started with Pixel Studio is simple

Version 1.4 of the Pixel Studio adds the ability to create custom stickers directly in the app and then add them to Gboard, where you can then use them in your chats (via 9to5Google). Gboard also now comes with a new ‘Pixel Studio’ tab in the sticker picker.

Pixel Studio integrates with Gboard in version 1.4, and adds a new tab in Gboard’s sticker picker so you can access your custom Pixel Studio designs instantly. No more switching apps to copy and paste the images you created.

You can also add your stickers directly to the Gboard sticker picker from Pixel Studio. There’s a brand new ‘Stickers’ tab in Pixel Studio where your creations will live. A button under your created image prompts you to add your sticker to your sticker library, and you can find it in this new tab.

But that’s not all.

Now you’ll find a suite of new style suggestions for your creations. These include options like freestyle, 3D cartoon, anime, claymation, and more. Tap on a style and your sticker creation will take on a new look. And thanks to the integration with Gboard, you can share them in any messaging app. Some other styles can be applied to both stickers and full images, including crochet, cinematic, and vector art.

This is an exclusive app for the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro and is not available for any other device.

You will see it soon, if not already

Pixel Studio version 1.4 is rolling out now for the Pixel 9 series. There are sideloading options for anyone feeling adventurous to try it early. If you have a Pixel 9 or Pixel 9 Pro, be sure to check regularly for the December Feature Drop. Once you get it, you’ll be generating weird stickers for your friends and family.
