One UI 7 brings these Galaxy S25 camera features to the Galaxy S24

After a long delay, Samsung finally rolled out the stable One UI 7 build for the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Flip 6. Based on the company’s official release timeline, it will expand the Android 15 update to more of its older devices in the coming weeks. Besides a visual revamp and smoother system animations, One UI 7 brings several Galaxy S25-exclusive camera features to older Galaxy phones. Samsung has now revealed the specific S25 camera features that will make their way to each of its previous flagships.
In a detailed post on Samsung Korea’s community forum, a moderator detailed all the One UI 7-specific camera and gallery changes (via @tarunvats33). Until now, these features were only available on the Galaxy S25, but Samsung is now bringing them to the S24, S23, and more. This includes the revamped Camera app with a cleaner layout, Audio Eraser, Log video recording, enhanced RAW image editing, and more.

As evident, Samsung is bringing most of the new camera features of the Galaxy S25 to its 2024 flagship phones: the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Flip 6. This should serve as a bit of consolation for device owners who’ve felt disappointed by the company making them wait a long time for Android 15.
One UI 7 will soon expand to more devices and regions
For now, Samsung has only rolled out One UI 7 to Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Flip 6 units in South Korea. It will push the update in the US on April 10 and a day later in Canada. The European rollout should also commence later this week.
While the Galaxy S23 lineup will supposedly receive their Android 15 build in the second half of the month, other Galaxy devices will only get the update in May.
