Introducing our PAC Community Ambassadors

At SentryOne, we have a long history of being committed to the SQL Server community.
I have the pleasure of announcing a new community program we are starting this summer; we call it our PAC Community Ambassador program. These are a handful of folks from our Product Advisory Council (PAC – which I’ve mentioned briefly here and here). Our product and marketing teams work with the PAC as a sounding board for feature ideas, beta programs, and social advice – since they and their customers use our tools, and they have phenomenal touchpoints within the community.
Starting this quarter, we will help these individuals reach out to more folks in the community by helping to cover their expenses to travel to events like SQLSaturdays. This keeps them connected to the community, helps get more free training for you, and hopefully encourages them to continue being involved in our programs.
Some of our ambassadors can’t be reimbursed for travel, for a variety of reasons, and instead we happily contribute to their user group or the charity or non-profit of their choice.
